Sebastien Grainger. This was at DFA1979's ACL aftershow at Emo's, one of the biggest highlights of the weekend. It was also Emo's last outdoor show ever, and afterwards there were people outside chipping away pieces of the wall to take home (a la Berlin Wall, sort of? not really?). This also happened.

So last Saturday, my pals in Turbo Fruits were nice enough to have me come by the studio for a couple of hours to snap some photos. Over past two weeks, the guys have been on lockdown at Public Hi-Fi (Jim Eno's studio) here in Austin recording their new album with Jim Eno himself. They also put on a show at the Spiderhouse earlier in the week where they played alot of the new material. I said this before and I'll say it again, this new LP's seriously gonna kick ass, y'all. And take names. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for when it comes out!
Right, so I'm gonna give this whole photo blog thing a whirl. As of now the only thing I have that is close to a photo blog is my flickr, so I want to try out something new. Let's see how this goes! As for an inaugural post, here are my Lolla 2011 photos! Which I helped shoot for Soundcheck Magazine. Rad.
